Timbercreek Canyon

Timbercreek Canyon Village is located 8 miles southeast of Amarillo. Timbercreek was incorporated as a Class B Village on August 13, 1983, and was a part of the old McAfee Ranch.

Residents have the advantages, pleasures, and joys of “country life”, while being minutes from all the amenities provided by the City.

Three card-activated gates provide residents access to the Village, while providing them both security and privacy.

Currently, there are approximately 200 homes scattered among the rugged hills and canyons that attract both local citizens, and a wide array of local wildlife.

The Village is in the Canyon, Texas School District. Sundown Lane Elementary, Greenways Intermediate, Westover Park Junior High, and Randall High School provide students quality educational opportunities, while actively encouraging strong parental involvement

The local tax rate is less than both the nearby cities of Amarillo and Canyon.

Neither mobile homes, nor “move-ins” are permitted. The average lot has a minimum 1600 sq. ft. dwelling, while some require at least a 2500 sq. ft. home. Please check here for any additional details.

Trash pick-up is twice weekly, in the form of bag service at your driveway. Currently the monthly fee is $22.00.

Annual Homeowners’ dues are $150.00, which covers roads and three utility gates.

United Parcel Service delivery is available to your door. Daily newspaper delivery is also provided.

Each family unit may have one horse per acre with a limit of three per tract as platted. Normal household pets are welcomed, but other animals or poultry are prohibited. No kennel operations are permitted. Hunting is not allowed.

Timbercreek reflects a warm, “small community feel”, with children’s events planned throughout the year, as well as other social affairs for all.

We look forward to your joining us.
